| 台大換腎千例 過世女醫器捐引善心

【張博亭／台北報導】台大醫院今公布該院25年來已完成1000例腎臟移植，副院長林明燦表示，該院在1968年首次進行換腎，到今年6月25日達千例，其中活體腎臟移植366例、屍腎634例，累計術後追蹤5年的存活率達95.2%。
今記者會有換腎40年後仍存活的病患出席，是71歲的陳明雄，他說，1973年接受媽媽捐贈右腎，雖然得一直吃抗排斥藥物，但總算能活到現在；首例完成夫妻換腎的案例也到場，氣氛溫馨。台大外科部移植外科主任蔡孟昆說，往年每月捐腎者僅個位數，日前該院醫師曾御慈過世並器捐，也帶起屍腎捐贈風氣，1個月內全台便有20多顆腎臟捐出。

| 永齡希望小學好強 弱勢生表現優於全國平均

【許敏溶╱台北報導】永齡教育基金會今天上午舉辦永齡希望小學成立6年來首次成果發表會，該會董事長郭守正說，父親郭台銘相當重視下一代人才培育，希望能將教育資源提供給更多有需要的小朋友。
專案督導林家純則說，希望小學已輔導學生近5.5萬人次，這些小朋友主要是家庭經濟特殊、學業成就相對落後，在希望小學介入後，狀況有顯著改善，例如220人參加TASA數學科能力檢測，施測前平均分數為245.51分，經希望小學輔導，進步到261.63分，高於全國平均成績250分。
