| 莎士比亞遇見中國戲曲 迸新火花

【台灣醒報記者賴仲翔台北報導】「這齣戲要讓觀眾從質樸中體會魅力。」知名京劇演員李寶春將莎士比亞的劇作，用傳統戲曲的方式改編成舞台劇《背叛》，結合了陰陽五行、二十八星宿及奇門遁甲等元素，讓觀眾看見不一樣的莎士比亞戲劇。文化大學國劇系主任劉慧芬表示，這是一場跨界的表演藝術，跨越了校園、國家及文化，要讓觀眾反思背叛與忠實的真諦。
籌備這齣戲時，李寶春表示，他遇到最大的困難，是許多學生並非來自戲曲科班，技巧上顯得質樸生澀，但他相信這齣戲能讓觀眾在質樸中感受到獨特的魅力。在內容上，《背叛》也顛覆了莎劇原作中的主旨，而著重在「追尋真愛」、「無關背叛」、「等待與思考」等意涵，更大量加入陰陽五行、二十八星宿、武俠及奇門遁甲等文化元素。
劉慧芬表示，這次的表演是場跨界的演出，跨越了校園，工作人員不只來自文化大學，還包括了師大及台大；跨越了國家，由美國與台灣的劇作家共同合作；跨越了文化，是西方的莎士比亞戲劇與中華戲曲文化的交融。
《背叛》的原型，取材自莎士比亞的知名戲劇《CARDENIO》。該劇已被11個國家用各自的文化重新詮釋，台灣是全球第12個，用在地的方式說莎士比亞故事的國家，也讓這次的演出富有文化流動的表演意涵。
