| 韓亞航空難客機降落時速 遠低於目標

美國國家運輸安全委員會（NTSB）主席赫斯曼周一表示，檢視機場監視錄影後，仍未能對其中一名死者的死因得出任何結論，目前尚未有驗屍結果。舊金山消防當局稍早表示，罹難中國女學生其中一人，可能被救護車輾過。
另外，根據Flightaware.com記錄的資料，韓亞航214號班機墜毀前飛行時速僅85節（約157公里）。赫斯曼周一則稱，客機降落時的時速為103節（約191公里），低於標準的137節（約253公里）。

| IMF已開發國成長目標修正較小 英日今年獲調升

【陳智偉／綜合外電報導】國際貨幣基金（IMF）最新《全球經濟展望報告》，已開發經濟體成長預估修正幅度較小，主要拜日本、英國目標獲得調升，平衡歐、美下修影響所致，已開發經濟體2013年整體成長目標僅下修0.1個百分點至1.2%，2014年也僅調降0.2個百分點至2.1%。
IMF此次調升日本今年經濟成長目標0.5個百分點至2.0%，主要反映寬鬆貨幣、振興經濟等政策利多，但明年仍下修0.3個百分點至1.2%；英國今年調0.3個百分點至0.9％，明年則維持1.5%不變。
美國經濟持續受政府減赤拖累，今、明2年成長目標同步下修0.2個百分點，2013年預估為1.7%，2014年可望升至2.7%；歐元區由於核心國成長放緩、債務問題國處境仍然艱困，今年成長目標下修0.2個百分點，衰退幅度將擴大至0.6%，2014年可望恢復成長，但目標0.9%仍較原先下修0.1個百分點。

| 日夜飛不停 太陽能飛機完成2個月創舉

由瑞士製造的高科技太陽能飛機「陽光動力號」（Solar Impulse），完成了歷時兩個月的橫跨美國旅程，雖然機翼中途出現損毀，仍能在周六(6日)凌晨安全抵達紐約甘迺迪國際機場。
「陽光動力號」是首架可日夜飛行的全太陽能飛機，外形纖長，一對機翼裝了1萬2千枚太陽能電池，儲備夜間飛行所需的電力，但機身只重1600公斤，輕如一輛汽車。
飛機在飛越紐澤西州途中，左邊機翼出現一道2.5公尺長裂痕，但同行的直升機監察團隊分析後，認為裂痕不會對飛行構成立即危險，因此沒有中止行程，但取消了環繞自由女神的環節，提早降落在紐約甘迺迪國際機場。
飛機今年5月1日在美國西岸舊金山市起航，途中分別在亞利桑那州的鳳凰城和德州的達拉斯停留，與各地的學生和科學家作交流。
