| 皮革廠排廢水重罰30萬元 業者辯：工人洗手

【曾佳俊／新北報導】新北市環保局人員上月底至五股凌雲路山區巡查，發現一條長50公尺、通往觀音坑溪的明溝被廢水染紅，經往上游追蹤，發現污染源來自一家違章皮革廠，不過，工廠人員見稽查人員來訪，立刻辯解說：「不是作業廢水，是工人在洗手。」荒誕理由讓人哭笑不得，環保局當下立即拍照存證，並依《水污染防治法》從重開出30萬元罰單，並要求限期改善。
環保局表示，五股地區中小型違章工廠眾多，且大部份沿河岸所建，倘若違法排放廢水，將會對河川生態造成嚴重影響，所以環保局將此處列為重點稽查熱區，24小時派員巡查，民眾如發現任何污染問題，可經由「新北i環保」APP，或撥打市府1999專線、本市環保局公害陳情報案中心專線02-22882327或全國公害陳情專線0800-066666檢舉。

| 北市昨發現1隻死鼬獾 1隻活錢鼠

【許麗珍／台北報導】北市狂犬病疫情應變中心今表示，截至昨天，北市未傳出疫情，但北市野生動物屍體通報情形，昨有2件由動物救援隊送來，包括1隻在貓纜動物園站山區發現的死鼬獾，今天將送檢體化驗，另一隻為在西園路2段140巷民宅附近發現的活錢鼠。動保處表示，北市疫苗在8月9日晚上提前到貨2.5萬劑，目前存量27502劑，疫苗充足，另有5萬劑備用，家犬貓已施打疫苗率達50.2%。
動保處表示，目前北市遭動物抓咬傷申請施打狂犬病疫苗共96人，被咬傷地點有大陸、南投、嘉義、台東、花蓮、宜蘭、新竹、新北及北市等，該96人均已接種第1劑，其中1人已接種第2劑，另1人已接種第4劑。除了被野生動物及流浪犬、貓抓咬傷者可接受公費疫苗接種外，被家貓、犬咬傷者並不建議施打，且若觀察抓咬傷動物未染狂犬病，也不會接種完5劑疫苗。
