【陳郁仁／海地報導】總統馬英九出訪中南美洲的「賀誼之旅」，今來到海地，他是兩國建交五十七年來，第一個造訪海地的中華民國總統。馬總統下飛機後就與海地總統馬德立進行雙邊會談。總統府發言人李佳霏會後轉述，馬德立提出希望台商投資海地的觀光計畫；馬總統回應，這部分請我駐海地大使評估，然後在台灣辦理說明會，邀台商一起尋找更多投資機會。

馬總統在會談中說希望海地能在國際場合，共同推動讓中華民國有意義參與國際組織及活動，他也邀馬德立到中華民國訪問；馬德立回他，會盡快找個合適的時間，來台訪問。

美國科技富豪馬斯克（Elon Musk）12日發表最新運輸系統概念「高速磁浮列車」（Hyperloop）計劃書，標榜時速1220公里超快速、相當0.91倍音速，且像搭機般平穩，目前從加州洛杉磯到舊金山搭機約1小時，若乘坐超迴路只需30分鐘，且票價僅約600元台幣。此列車最快7年問世。
 
馬斯克是網路付費機制PayPal創辦人，創立了全球首間民營太空船企業SpaceX，也是電動車廠Tesla的老闆，他發表的高速磁浮列車造價約1800億元台幣，是建造鐵路的1/10。
 
運送艙每艙可坐28人，行駛於近真空狀態的管道，在管道中以電磁懸浮原理推動運送艙高速前進，運送艙前方配有大型風扇減輕風阻，讓旅客「有如搭乘協和號客機一般超級平穩」。不過專家表示，高速磁浮列車難以抵抗恐怖攻擊或意外事件，安全性有待商榷；加州高鐵局主席也潑冷水，表示在地震帶建造這種鐵路與隧道的難度被嚴重低估。

【綜合報導】中國江蘇一名男子，日前爬上40公尺高的電塔，期間男子用電話要求警方聯絡一女子，要求帶她到現場。原來，男子暗戀該女子多時，曾經多次向對方表白，可惜女子心有所屬，婉拒男子的好意。

女子最後抵達到場，男子打算爬下地面時，卻不慎觸電，全身著火。男子起初奮力緊握電塔，不過最後體力不支，直墮地面死亡。
