有331年歷史的國家三級古蹟—嘉義縣朴子市配天宮，3月25日晚間突遭祝融之災，損失慘重，嘉義地檢署昨天依失火燒燬建物罪，起訴肇禍的進香團高雄市旗津區天聖宮主任委員翁國振。

起訴說，翁國振（69歲）是高雄旗津區天聖宮主委，負責處理廟務，3月25日帶領天聖宮人員，到朴子市配天宮進香，將香擔放正殿東南面會議桌，翁可預見香擔為木質易燃物，添加貢末香料維持香火，因有火源有引燃鄰近物品之虞。

檢方指出，翁國振在3月25日晚間8點18分許，派人在香擔添加貢末香料維持香火後，未派人看管，致10點零5分開始冒煙，產生火光，火勢延燒，造成正殿及殿內物品焚毀。

翁國振則否認配天宮失火與他有關，但檢方傳訊7名天聖宮及配天宮證人，又有消防局火災鑑定報告，認定翁涉犯失火燒燬建物罪。

配天宮甫耗資1億2000萬整修完工，遭大火燒得面目全非，千里眼、順風耳雕像被燒毀，幸好開基媽祖、鎮殿媽祖只被醺黑。

【李姿慧／台北報導】台鐵上午7時33分一列302次自強號行駛至枋山1號隧道，一出隧道口，列車突然遭土石流沖刷，造成第5、6車分離，被土石流衝擊的第6車出軌，列車傾斜，車上旅客尖叫連連，目前已有3人受傷，其中1人重傷，初估車上至少有250人，台鐵緊急調度3514次區間車(台東開往高雄)前往接駁旅客，台鐵也已急搶修中，目前傳出土石流估有1米高。  

台鐵表示，該出事路段為高風險路段，地質破碎，易因豪大雨沖刷造成土石流，去年6月屏東加祿到枋野間也發生土石流，都屬同樣地質路段，當時邀請專家學者針對南迴易土石流路段體檢，並在危險路段加裝遠端監看系統，但該路段是否有加裝仍待確認。
