周元考取建國大學2013年度言論宣傳大學院放送通信融合專業(專攻放送影像)，繼續深造。

周元從9月中旬開始學習建國大學言論宣傳大學院的第二學期課程，周元表示：「因為我想多多學習放送與影像領域的理論部分，因此決定到建國大學言論宣傳大學院深造。我打算演技、學業兩不誤。”

畢業於成均館大學演技藝術專業的周元，憑藉2006年音樂劇《Altar Boyz》踏入演藝圈，以舞蹈、歌唱與演技力兼備的明星資質獲得了好評。

自從KBS 2TV電視劇《麵包王金卓求》開始，周元相繼在《烏鵲橋兄弟們》、《新娘面具》，MBC TV《7級公務員》等電視劇中擔任主角，再加上近期殺青的KBS 2TV《Good Doctor》所飾演的雖患自閉症但心性溫暖的天才醫師朴施溫一角，以自然逼真的演技連獲觀眾的好評。

而且，預計12月上映的影片《Catch Me》中周元飾演頂尖的犯罪心理分析員(Profiler)，預計再度掀起「周元熱潮」。

橄欖油不純，衛生福利部次長許銘能說，1週內全面抽查。廠商違反事實有標示不實、添加不應添加物、攙偽及不當利得。

大統長基特級橄欖油不純，相關單位查出大統不僅在自家的橄欖油及葡萄籽油加入銅葉綠素，台糖委託代工的葡萄籽油也遭殃。

許銘能表示，近日內將邀請地方衛生局討論，並在1週內針對食用植物油啟動全面油品抽查，了解是否有類似不純橄欖油等情況。

針對大統橄欖油不純事件，許銘能說，廠商違反事實有「標示不實」、「添加不應添加的銅葉綠素」、「加入別的油而號稱橄欖油的攙偽」及不當利得。

許銘能說，前述違反事項的法源是食品衛生管理法，依法針對「攙偽」可處3年以下有期徒刑、拘役或科或併科新台幣800萬元以下罰金。針對「添加銅葉綠素」應沒入銷毀，並處新台幣3萬元以上、300萬元以下罰鍰。

他說，針對不當利得也將計算，以純度100%的原價，計算實際的純度，如果只有50%，則以原價的1/2乘上共銷售多少瓶，算出不當利得，並處罰。針對廣告的部分，則以跨大不實處罰。
