| 光電產業第4季景氣趨保守

光電科技工業協進會（PIDA）針對2013第4季景氣信心程度做調查，結果發現光電產業總信心指數為49.97，顯示廠商對景氣信心度多半呈現「持平」與「持平稍差」的看法。相比上季所做的「持平稍好」調查結果的看法，顯示業界對景氣趨勢看法傾向保守。
PIDA針對LED、顯示器、光學、泛光電等業界70餘家廠商，做了景氣信心程度的有效問卷調查，得到業界對於下一季景氣信心程度的分布結果。
與第3季總信心指數60相較，第4季總信心指數為49.97，退步不少，除顯示器廠商與泛光電廠商有較正面的看法，維持在「持平稍好」，LED廠商則普遍呈現「持平稍差」的結果，顯示第4季的業績仍有待衝刺。
大體而言，2013年下半年台灣光電產業仍將面臨挑戰。以個別產業來看，2013年上半年台灣LED廠商獲利大致獲利改善，但由於中國大陸LED磊晶片及晶粒產業快速崛起、LED晶粒自給率持續攀升，直接衝擊以往高度倚重中國大陸市場的台灣LED公司。廠商們也需採取更積極的產業策略合作以面對嚴峻的LED產業洗牌。
在太陽能產業方面，2013年上半年拜日本以及美國市場的利多政策所賜，使得上游矽晶材料大廠出現成長。中游矽晶太陽能電池段的營收雖然較去年同期略為遜色，但普遍出現了穩定上升的趨勢。
2013年上半年台灣精密光學元件產值約達352億台幣，相較於去年同期持平，其中對應手機相機、單眼相機、LED照明等終端光學應用產品的公司成長性相對耀眼，也是未來觀察的重點。
