| 金融時報獨家專訪 達賴盼中共領導「多點常識」

【簡嘉宏／綜合外電報導】藏傳佛教精神領袖達賴喇嘛接受英國《金融時報》（Financial Times）獨家專訪時，除了比較中國領導人的統治年代特色，呼籲領導人要「多點常識」外，還要中國政府善待與尊重西藏人民，這篇專訪於7日刊出。
金融時報記者卡茲敏（Amy Kazmin）今年8月特地前往達賴居住的達蘭薩拉，並在楚拉康寺(Tsuglagkhang Temple)中聆聽達賴對來自世界各地信徒講述「成佛之路」(The Path to Enlightenment)的宣教，這位1989年諾貝爾和平獎得主在宣教後對卡茲敏敘述了中國歷任領導人的時代特色。
達賴說毛澤東年代屬於「極端統治」，肇基於空泛（unrealistic）的意識型態；鄧小平則將資本主義的市場經濟精神導入了社會主義國家；江澤民讓共產黨聽命於資本家與知識份子，與工人階級分享權力；至於胡錦濤則在社會與經濟發展差距逐漸拉大的情況下，仍侈言「和諧社會」。
達賴直白的對卡茲敏說，他總是期盼中國領導人能夠「多點常識」（I always pray the Chinese leadership should develop more common sense），並能夠尊重西藏文化以及善待西藏人民。
