【林錫淵／高雄報導】高市林園區1名林姓男子（23歲），涉嫌偷竊1名女子的iPad平板電腦，放在身邊玩遊戲，林園派出所在轄區1家電子遊藝場執行臨檢勤務時，見林男翹著二郎腿玩平板，很認真地用手指滑著螢幕，完全不知警察上門臨檢。

由於林男近年來因涉及多起竊案，常進出派出所，成為警局常客，加上1個多月前有女子報案iPad遭竊，警方懷疑沒工作又缺錢的林男怎可能突然擁有平板電腦，遂向前盤問，林男起初否認行竊，警方找來失竊平板的丁女，丁女帶著平板電腦序號與林男手中平板內建序號核對，竟完全一樣，林男才坦承行竊，全案依竊盜罪送辦。

【國際中心／綜合報導】美國德堡大學心理系教授赫騰斯坦在最近出版的新書中指出，畢業紀念照可預測婚姻是否幸福美滿，如果相片中人一苦瓜相或假笑，離婚機率會比笑容真誠者高出5倍。

他領導的研究團隊調查數百本畢業紀念冊，並比對美國一個小鎮逾55歲者的婚姻狀況與畢業照笑容，而得到上述結論。
